History / Lineage:
Kasumi - Gossamer is part of Shoyeido’s Low Smoke Daily Incense series, a line designed to produce about 30 % less smoke while preserving the refined incense tradition of Kyoto. Its name evokes the delicate, airy quality of gossamer. Something light and intangible, setting a tone of clarity and light presence. 

Meaning behind the Name:
“Kasumi” (霞) means Gossamer. Suggesting something thin, misty, and delicately beautiful. The name reflects the incense’s effect; a transparent, refined fragrance that drifts softly through a space much like morning mist or cloud.
