Main Notes / Character: The incense still rests on its classic sandalwood and herb-spice foundation, but the addition of aloeswood gives it a deeper, richer woodiness. There’s a subtle resinous note that slowly unfolds as it burns, adding complexity and a longer, more meditative experience.

Meaning behind the Name: “Tokusen” (特撰) means “specially selected / excellent selection”, indicating this is a notably refined version of the classic. “Kobunboku” retains the plum-tree symbolism.
